Short answer - no.

Long answer - why don't you check with the person you bought it from?

try burning the wiikey config disk and see if it reads it and if it does then its a wiikey (unless other modchips can read the config disk) but thats my suggestion.

wiikey config disk is just like any gamecube homebrew, so it should bot with any modchip....
