PAL games over NTSC games

Is there a big difference between the selection of PAL games and NTSC games? How many games have been only release as PAL? And are these games so amazing that I am missing something?

Mario Strikers - PAL can brick USA wii's
plus maybe a few more PAL games are out offcially in Europe
(but not yet officially released over the pond)

plus maybe a few more like trauma centre, tamgotchi, surfs up etc.... are out in USA but not yet in Europe on PAL format

running games from other regions can be risky if you don't keep your wii updated - and eventually the above games should be out on both sides of the atlantic

The only games (I think) that are out in the USA but not in Europe are:

Chicken Little
Legend of the Dragon
Mario Party 8 (*)
Mortal Kombat Armageddon
Shrek The Third
Super Paper Mario
Super Swing Golf (*)
Surf's Up (*)
Tamagotchi - Party On
Trauma Centre (note the proper spelling :D) (*)

Those with (*) appear to be the games which don't work on a PAL Modded Wii

The only games that are out in Europe but not in the USA are:
Mario Strikers Charged
Mercury Meltdown Revolution

So, if you're in the UK the PAL games should be sufficient for the time being

Apart from Surfs up works on PAL Wii consoles, you just don't get any videos, just a white screen, the actual game and menu works fine.
