no, there is no rip solution out to the public, and the rip solution thats in the works will not decrypt the game when ripped, u can only play commercial games that have been ripped and patched by groups.

hm.. guess ill just stick to the gba flash cart no point in payin that much for a neo when it can't even play ds shiz yet.. oh well its well worth the money of about 3 gba games to have as many as i want!

whats a good gba flash cart that will be good (i have a DS but no GBA!)

ur limited as to what u can get then. alot of flash carts are flashed through the gba, theres a few that have an external loader, the only one i know of is the one i got which is xg2turbo but im sure there are more

so if i get THIS ONE (http://www.ic2005.com/html/2005/show-24.htm) i'll be able to put any gba roms i have onto it without a gba?

according to THIS SITE (http://www.gameboy-advance.net/nintendo_ds/nds_flash_card.htm) the EZFlash II powerstar should work..

yeah, i think that one comes with a programmer too. thats ur main focus, after u find the ones with the programmers, do a little research for the best one that u want.

nope my friend has that one and it comes with a GBA cable. But XG cards have programmers too so you'll have to buy it seperatly for it to work. Also, no 256 mbit XG cards work with DS games (believe me, Ive tried) so get a 512 one or higher.

@ whackawookie - hey, how do flash your xg2 turbo with the DS? It shows it having a usb that plugs into the GBA for flashing, not an external linker. And gameboy-advance.net has it listed as not being able to flash with a DS either. It says only the lite version has an external linker.

so this one will come with the loader so i won't need a gba to flash games? if so then all i gotta do is checkout im just makin sure 100% that i will be able to use it with my DS and not have to use gba to flash games
