Check out this new gameplay footage of Irrational Games' Bioshock. After your plane crashes into icy uncharted waters, you discover a rusted bathysphere and descend into Rapture, a city hidden beneath the sea. Constructed as an idealistic society for a hand picked group of scientists, artists and industrialists, the idealism is no more.

i can't wait for this only thing is who the hell edited the video. it just goes dark for 2 seconds between segments

Man, the setting looks great... too bad the combat looks like standard generic fare. Watching that movie has turned me off the game quite a fair bit actually.

u know what, i felt in exactly the same way. was lookin forward to this game, but after that gameplay video, i dont look too bovvered.

well,i will look forward to playing this.

i always like and appreciate good shooters and considering the footage that gets put up nearly all the time on youtube of games the quality can never do the actual game any justice.

example:watch shadowrun and then actualy have a go at the game.

the graphics will be brill and first person shooters are all generic.

i eagerly await its release.

Just one thing I noticed:

No cross-hairs? Could be a little weird.

Eh, some games are better off without them. If I remember correctly, System Shock had the option to turn it off and on. I like FPSs with no redicle though, makes it feel more realistic.
