1st of all...ha...like if that's going to save a worthless console over in Japan, but the fact that it's a X360 mag "version," no wonder forza 2 would get such an "ok" review, which IMO it doesn't even deserve.
i do agree on the def jam review...fight for ny will remain the best, especially for the psp.

It is already being ported to the PS3, though I don't know what differences the developers will include.

Should have ported it to Wii it sells 10times better in Japan.

more like 500X's better...
PS3 port will sell 100X's better than 360 version overthere easily...
then again it is Famitsu and they score any hyped game on any system high

Uh...ya think? Do you think that devs make a game and flip a coin to see which console it'll go on? Or them say "I want this game on this console."? No...they are payed for their efforts to be put on a certain console. They may port it to the PS3, but even then they won't make much money from it in Japan, and may even come out with a loss if they do make it for the PS3.

no stupid, usually it's the other way around, developers pay the console makers for permision to put their games on, that's called royalties, on n64 days developers were complaining how expensive it is to put games on n64; not only the cost of the catridge, but the royalties to nintendo was outrageous
in this case however, microsoft paid for the game time exclusivity, it's almost like microsoft begging developers to put their games on their console
without microsoft's money, this game won't end up on x360, the US version might arrive on x360, since it's pointless to release a japanese game on x360

haha whaaaa?
Yeah right.
Famitsu magazine is HARD on games, even in its own 360 mag.
Those scores look about right to me, and i'm happy to see the 360 finally gettin some love over there.
Don't be hatin' on the system, geez.

 I could have swore I was making it obvious, apparently not. When I mentioned them paying for their game, I meant for their exclusivity alone. I especially love your biased opinion about how they're begging devs to put games on their console. Rofl. No evidence of that, and of course it having at very least 7 million consoles sold over the PS3 and 3 million over the Wii.

console makers paying exclusivity is not common until this gen, and you didnt say anything about exclusivity, you said "effort", most ps2 exclusives (with "effort") didnt require sony to pay for them, you think sony paid atlus to have odin sphere exclusive on ps2? you think sony paid konami to have mgs3 exclusive? those are two games with "effort"
and it's pretty obvious microsoft's begging japanese devs to put their games on it, use your common sense, that thing DOESNT sell in japan, why would any japanese developers put games on it
on the other hand, in the US microsoft doesnt need to do anything, the games are coming to their console already, and sony probably "begs" (paid) ubisoft to put haze on time exclusive, so how's that bias?
if you want to know anything about bias, look at a mirror

I don't know, why did Capcom decide to make DMC4 multiplatform? That's a Japanese dev, correct? Basically, MS never actually expected to get games for Japan but Japanese devs are making games for the 360. Just like the Xbox, they had several Japanese devs that were 3'rd party...let me guess, you think that they payed them a lot of money to get them, right? And I do believe I comment on Sony doing things right, so far I haven't seen you do anything but be completely pro Sony.

you miss the point.. again
microsoft has to paid japanese developers to release game in JAPAN, not in the US, mainly because x360 doesnt sell in JAPAN, but it sells IN THE US, that's why capcom (and other japanese developers) doesnt mind putting their game in x360 for US audience, but not for japan, how hard is that to understand?
you comment on sony doing things right? all you did was praising x360 everywhere
and i'm completely pro sony? I dont have neither ps2 or ps3, and ps3 games selection atm is horrible

I am sure MS either gave them money or there was some financial agreement made regarding royalties, advertising, or development but this is pretty normal practice. Companies will pay to make a game exclusive or to get them to develop for their system. Sony won over the devs by having lower royalty rates than Nintendo, which meant more money in their hands. I think they originally also pressed all the discs.
It's like a baseball team signing an allstar, if they produce with a great game people will be more interested in buying that system over another. I don't mind because its just business, but it is happening.
Do you think Rockstar got nothing out of having an exclusive contract with Sony? Think they did it cause they wanted to limit their sales? Sony probably gave them a ton of money to produce the games and a better rate of return per game sold.
It's all about the green and whoever pays the most gets the most. MS knew they needed to win over Japan. The companies are starting to make games for the 360 not because the 360 is better or worse than the competition but because MS convinced them and probably backed them to a degree to get these games out. When it costs $10-20 million to develop a game most Japanese companies wont risk taking a chance on a new IP on a system that hasn't sold well in Japan.
