There's been much debate whether or not Forza 2, Turn 10's upcoming racing simulator, will be able to topple the awesome Gran Tourismo series. It's leaked, so I had a chance to test run it myself.
The game is an excellent simulator for XBOX360, hitting just the spot that was lacking in the platform.

Though I find the game somewhat disappointing.. Although being a very very good game, it plays and feels like an expanded version of the original Forza.
It's not groundbreaking, but it's the best you can play now on 360.

Gran Turismo 4 better than Forza :rolleyes:. I guess some publisher has to develop games for the school of the easier it is the better the game.

Gran Turismo 4 for Ps2 is better!.Not quite.. If we were talking about the original Forza then one could argue GT4 to be the best.

Now, on top of the original Forza features (on top of GT4, it had a damage model), Forza2 introduced a whole lot of new parts, performance tunning, career elements and online car marketplace, making Forza2 a way more complete game. The con is it looks, plays and feels basically the same as previous Forza, not that the original Forza had any particular troubles with it's gameplay, just I for once expected a little more evolution from Forza2 in this department.

the fact that the music is garbage first off all, but most importantly the fact that it does introduce anything new, makes this game fail.

It's also funny how GT will feature huge amount of cars to choose from. GT is not due until fall '08....big things are to come for the ps3. 360 better catch up.

I agree its more like the original just with better graphix and a lot smoother.

I find it plays a lot like Viewpoint (if anyone remembers that game) on the Dreamcast/PS1, it has that feel to it, very twitchy but the cars arent as bouncy.

A good game overall but a little dissapointing its just a replica of Forza1 with the same old tracks but enhanced gfx and gameplay.

they took an hell of a long time to develop the first gt.they spent a lot of money on it lso.all the months and months of painstaking work payed off for them.

all it lacked was the top names like ferrari and such.

if they had,had the monies and time to fork out like the developers of gt then they would have made one that is on a par with it.

i have not got forxa yet,soon will have though.so until then i cant exactly be a judge of what the game is exactly like,therefore i cant make direct comparrisons.

the game footage definately looks great with a lot of promise.

i think this one will definatley hit the spot with me.

mind you so would gt on xbox360;)
