hey ive got a wii with wiikey installed and got an error today while playing a game n it said take the disk out and turn wii off, i did this but when i tried to put the disk back in the wii just inso grabbed the disk but would not draw it in. if u push it a little the dvd will make small jumps into the drve but its really slow so i just take the disk out.

I have read about fixig the drive by bridging the fuse, i dont think this is the problem as the disk does move a little when inserted, it seems like the wii is struggling to draw the disk in.

I have the EXACT same problem as this, did the poster find a solution or was it left un-resolved? Any help would be great ^_^

try loosening the screws holding the optical unit to the main section, I had all sorts of problems with the drive and it turned out that I had tightened the four screws holding the optical drive to the unit too much.

Check the small white gogs on the right hand side of the DVD drive, sometimes these tend to come loose and fall off.

hey i ended up takeing to a guy to get it fixed, he checked the chip and realiste it was a pretty bad install so repaired it and then reinstalled the chip.
he tested for about 1 hour 30 mins and siad it was all fine (100% trusted him on this!) but when i tried it it would not eject, after many more attempts (turning wii off unplugging etc) it ejected and took another game but that game still didnt work andwouldnt eject so i left the wii for about 3 days.

currently the wii has been working with no problem for about 4 days, currently ive turned connect 24 off and when im not using the wii i turn it fully off.
