With Microsoft Game Studios' Forza Motorsport 2 hitting shelves next week Microsoft is slashing the price of the Xbox 360 Racing Wheel by $20 from $150 to $130. In addition, June 1 will see the start of the Forza Motorsport 2 Race Weekend, an online event will include Live contests and gameplay sessions with developers plus a leaderboard tournament. No word on a price cut in other regions though.

If its as good as Driving Force Pro then its well worth 150$, if not shame on Ms.

Have you read the reviews on it? Most say that it's literally the best racing wheel to date. Only problem is the name is misleading, you do have to connect an AC adapter to play "wirelessly". lol. But I have played with it and the wire is literally 30 feet so it doesn't get tight and the plug in is at the bottom of the dashboard, and yes, it does come with pedals. 150 bucks is well worth it if you love racing games, so the 20 dollar price cut on it is even better. Now you can...do something that uses 20 bucks.

Was thinking of getting this, went to the bestbuy site and it says $30 off but still showing $149.99 price.

This will give me a good excuse to go back and finish those last couple of tracks in PGR3.

I think you'd get more out of it with Dirt since it has great Force Feedback.

I've never owned a racing wheel...mainly because of price...and the fact that it seems like they all need to clamp onto a table...which no one has in front of their couch....but I've read that this one was also designed to sit on your lap comfortably. SO I'm not sure...I would buy it if it was under 100...but 130....I'm not sure.

Yep, it can do both. I have the advantage of using my computer desk when playing it through my Monitor and it feels great, but the lap play is better, a lot more comfortable. I'd say buy it if you have a lot of racing games and you would use it, the best thing about it is the new Dpad that they use on the newer 360 controllers.
