I got a problem I have a wiid in my wii and when I turn on my wii and go into everybody votes are the weather and news the date and time is wrong and it said that wiiconnect is turned off so I read somewhere that if you reconfirm the users agree it will fix the problem but I did that and still nothing I even reformat my wii system that fix it but its doing again but this time it do not say wiiconnect is turn off it looks like its working but the time and date in the weather is way slower then the actual time that I set is there any way to fix this. sorry about my grammer but this is a rush job.

Ive followed all the guides that are in previous posts that the forum geeks keep telling us to search for. Anyway none of these hackenyne procedures have fixed the problem. I really Wish the mod chip manufactures would print turn off wii connect before installing the chip on their install diagrams. A simple warning sticker on the anti static bag would also be nice. Now that Ive broken my vote, news, and forcast. Im using favorites in Opera to do the jobs of News and Forecast. I really miss these main menu features. I mostly used my XBMC for weather so... I was excited to see that Wii had that feature to bad stupid me had to mod and break it.

I tried taping the battery still no luck. wondering if I should remove the WiiD and try a reformat maybe the WiiD is interfering? I dont know, anyway I just hope this doesnt affect online play for legitimate games that I am going to purchae.
Delete the voter data in the Everyone Votes channel. It fixed my issues after installing my mod chip.

That doesn't work. Disabling and re-enabling doesn't stop the problem. Once you have set up wiiconnect24 and remove the battery you get this problem, regardless of whether you disable it or not 1st.
Try this:
Set the date and time first.
Go into Wii settings, select internet and confirm the user agreement.
