wii mote led?

I plan to add a lighted A on my Mote, and I was wondering what type of LED to get (voltage etc..), I wanted a blue one, similar to that off the Wii player buttons, and was going to buy it from DIGIKEY.COM

If anyone can link me up/offer me a suggestion that would be gr8

get some 3mm leds.. those supposedly fit in the wiimote easiest.

I used a standard size 5mm UV led and had to sand that bugger down before it would fit.. not fun.

0603 Surface Mount LEDs would be the best for this task. Get a good load of them if you can too and use them in all your lighting projects (my favorite kind, same kind used in psp trigger light mods).

Surface mounts are good because of the wide viewing angle, and they don't blind you as bad as a 3mm ;)
