We all know the Halo 3 BETA suffered a few hiccups prior to launch. Many Spartans were outraged by the delay, and vented their frustrations on countless internet forums. So how exactly has the BETA performed since launch? Well, the latest figures reveal that a staggering 610,000 games of Halo 3 were logged in the first 24 hours of the BETA's release. Even now, a few days later, the game is still logging around 450 to 500 thousand games every 24 hours. I'm sure the Bungie team are feeling elated, as the BETA is proving a great success.

I am actually really hyped from this game, despite saying that I don't really like Halo. I loved Halo 1, logged in at least 200 hours of gameplay on it. Halo 2 was good for one go through Story and maybe 50 hours of gaming with modded MP. Halo 3 looks and plays so much like Halo 1, I made sure I had a preorder for the Collector's Edition. As for topic, that's got to be some kind of record. I wonder what Halo 3 MP is going to do to Bungie's servers. Probably make them short out from the strain they're going to be going through.

never been big fan of halo, will probably get it for co-op story and 4 player with friends. the multiplayer i find gruelling and boring compared to pc fps's. can see why none pc gamers might like it, but it simply doesnt compare.

Halo is revealed a name, and I thinks both only this to push the sales, doesn't understand otherwise the why of so many sales, Sincerely the second has been a disappointment, but three seems worse still me!.

Loved the series so far, especially playing through the campain with a friend.

As for the multiplayer, the only thing the drives me up a wall is all the fucking jumping. Its like everyone is on a pogo stick. This is why I love R6, who jumps around a field shooting people in a battle?

The vehicles and enemies are excellent and some of the AI I have seen is incredible. Favorite had to be tagging an enemy with a sticky grenade and having him yell and jump off the side of a bridge before blowing up. The enemies will flank and retreat, too bad they rushed the second one cause it had tons of potential to blow the first one out of the water and it left a bad taste in most peoples mouth.

I always love sticking a Plasma Grenade to someone's foot, and them run around not knowing it is there...until the end of course. :D And I agree, the best thing about Halo 1 was the gigantic world that you could explore and such, Halo 2 was too small.
