ON ONE DISC. Dang. Apparently (damn I can't spell) TDK has made 4-layer Blu-Ray discs. Just think, with that much space, you could fit... dang. I want a PS3 right about now.

I can almost guarantee at least 95% of ps3 will be on dvd9's and not bluray discs, they just want to push the format that they created, much like the memory stick duo in the psp. If the games come out on bluray discs, excpect them to be min of $75 just because of the high price of the media. Of course this would go down over time, but still.

im sure some of the really good games will be over 9 gigs, and be on a blu-ray. Like GTA, MGS, GT. cause didnt these games kinda already meet the limit of dvd-9 and had to cut some stuff out cause it just wouldnt fit?

Iomega made an 850gb dvd. 100 seems so miniscule.

i didnt even know they made a dvd with that much space! just dont want to see the price on just 1 of them.

Then sony will have to report even more losses as the machine probably couldn't sell as players couldn't afford the games..

if a game uses blueray its gonna be blueray. you wont be able to fit 20 games on a disk. and its a long wait. the ps3 isnt marked till 2007-2008. they already lost to xbox360 and now they gotta go back and redo stuff and delay production just to get a jump ahead. but by the time they do xbox3 will be out.

despite my hate for sony and how much the xbox kicks ass over everything and my soul included I have to agree.........snap. But still I don't see the game industry even being able to use up that enough space in time, but who knows maybe it will be like a package deal for example a 5-in-1 ps3 bundle. that could be a competitive curve against the 360............
no nintendo is not included................they are screwed.
