The graphics is slightly improved, but I expected more sincerely me.

i think it looks miles better. Even at this tiny resolution I can see a huge difference in texture quality. Sure its the same art style, but they where not going to change that otherwise it wouldnt be halo.

i spent a lot of time waiting for this only to be very disappointed.the graphics that they claimed to improve is truly hard to notice and the game play is as difficult as ever.i spent my time getting shot from the back because as a fps you can't see whats behind you and laughing at the way enemys die due to dumb physics.maybe i would have enjoyed this game on the xbox 1 but i can honestly say that this is not in anyway "next gen".i don't want to sound like a halo hater but i do have to admit that i did in fact play gears of war after to wash off the suck.The game still has high hopes. All i'm saying is that if that beta was suppose to help them out. it did not.Half the people in the room were saying how bad it was and they were also the only ones with head sets.lol

I have noticed most people that complain do not have a HDTV.

I have to admit that damn snow board in the beta looks like Halo 2.5 HD lol
some sections of it look good upclose(like the reftective ice).

on the other hand the other 2 boards are fantastic looking on my HD set.

well of course its going to sell!we could use the extra achievement points.And we cant deny that the story line is good but it doubt people are going to enjoy it more than gears.Or at least enjoy as much as the previous halo games.Not only that "buddy" but game doesn't offer no next gen features.just next gen lies

like? I havent heard any lies from bungie... they have been very open about the current status of the game.

besides single player always looks better then multi so.. :p

I have something to point out here.... Multiplayer never looks on par to the single player aspect of the game. Honestly what did you all expect in a Multiplayer Beta release, some miracles. We have yet to see the real single player portion finished and polished up. So before you all go bashing something not really known, wait till it is released. No I am not some Halo groupy or even a FANBOY! Just stating what is fact... Look at any other games even Gears of War multiplayer is lower quality than its single player counterpart.

In all honesty though how much better did you all expect it to be?? Its Halo, what more could they honestly have done in multiplayer with the graphics. Except add more textures and shine up their armor, add a little more defined foliage, and add better reflections. Which as you see is what they have done... They couldn't change much as it would no longer be Halo.

I admit I have never been a big fan of the Halo multiplayer anyhow, But the storyline of the single player portion of the game has always been very well written.

everybody has there preference so nobody can really make somebody like something if they just don't like it. there is going to be no denying the sales numbers though and that alone should pretty much crush those jokes of 2007 claims :p

Don't judge the game before you try it on a HDTV set. The graphics are awesome for the beta, the weapons / armor / maps looks a lot better. While Bungie didn't change the artwork much, they made it many times better. Let's face the fact if Bungie changed the artwork it wouldn't be Halo, now would it?

Halo 3 = joke of 2007 :DYour forgeting one thing Halo 3 will be the game to beat from 2007 - 2010, or whenever Halo 4 comes out. Xbox live will be filled with Halo 3 gamers, and you know it will be the Top Live game. The jokes on you if you don't want to play.

Personally both seemed too blurry to make out much, and while it didn't do Halo 3 any favours it makes Halo 2 look alot worse than it is as well. I'll give the real thinga test this weekend and see for myself then decide.

Killzone on the PSP got a lot of hype too, and that one didn't turn out so great.

You gotta admit, whether you like Halo or not... there really is no beating it.

I'm not a huge fan (I havent even played through H2 single player camp) but i WAS impressed with the Beta from the limited time i got to spend with it.

Well i´ve played it and i was not a bit disappointed. Halo and halo 2 had great graphics but the gameplay was what pulled me in,and in halo 3 ho my god its better than ever! Also i´ve played all the FPS out there in single and multy player (pc and consoles) but when i picked up halo 3 it was like going home...
As for graphics they are very good not great but very good. Not Gears of war good but eons better than resistance.

Same here, the graphics look a lot better then Halo 2, no clue where they're getting that it looks just like it. O_o Maybe cause that was their original standpoint and instead of looking wrong, they just decided to look ignorant.

Bungie we Don't Want Better Eye Candy, what we Wanted was a Game that Runs Faster NOT the Same Speed, the Turn Speed is OK, But moving Forward & Backwards well that is just a JOKE, and yes i do Own a XBOX360 with Halo 2, its just Unplayable, you Have no chance against a Good Player Online, Because of the Speed you Move, he or She would Never Miss!!!

I Expected this to be So Much Better, Because of the Sheer Raw Power of the XBOX360, WRONGGGGGGGGGGG, its just as slow as before, i have to agree with the comments before, this is HALO 2 with a Graphics Overhaul, BIG DEAL, this really will be worth the full £44.99 RRP :rolleyes:
And Sadly this CRAP will Sell as much as Halo 2 Did, Because there is Nothing Else on the 360 that is worth buying, Simple as that.

The PC is where its at for First Person Shooters No Contest, Bring on Medal of Honor Airborne, Now that is How a FPS Should be Coded, Sheer Class with Great Speed with a Keyboard / Mouse Combination

Well, obviously the direction turning speed will be adjustable but I agree it's hard to actually take someone out in the Beta unless they're just like you are, confused with the controlls. And I think you've literally got to be the only person I've ever heard say that the 360 is only worth buying because of Halo 3. Rofl. Most of the people on here say Halo 3 sucks and Gears is worth the 360 alone. *Shrugs* To each his own I suppose.

Graphics aside, the level design has a distinct feel of UT, and not Halo. Which is a good thing.
