Does anyone feel like making a small app that would convert a properly formatted JPEG into an MPEG1 I-Frame compatable with Qoob 1.3 for us? I would appreciate it greatly. :D

Thanks for the link. Every time I try it looks great as a JPEG, okay as an MPEG, and crappy on the Qoob boot screen.

i've used tmpegenc, and it worked fine.

did you have bad results with tmpegenc, too?

resulting image size should be 64k..128k.

I used the convertor mmsblz suggested.

It seemed okay to me.

Maybe it's not possible, but I was hoping for a 1:1 converter so that essentially what I see in Photoshop is what I see on the cube.

use tmpgenc ;)

just add the image at video source, set ES (video only) as stream type and load the .mcf-profile from the zip (http://www.gamefreax.de/gamefreax/root/_DOWNLOADS_/GAMECUBE/qoob-corner/qoob13image.zip) made by arakon from gamefreax.de

my bootscreens are all looking similar to the original pics :)

Wow, thanks alot! I'm at work now, but if it looks as good on the cube as it does as an M1V I'll be as happy as a pig in...yeah, happy.
