ok so i have swap magic a USB flash drive a spare PS2 MC and some CD-R's.

i already know how to make the independace exploit CD which will hack.exploit my mem card though i have a few questions.

after i apply MC hack how t do i run homebrew? can it be done via USB to keep free space on MC?

do i need to have the PS1 disk in to run homebrew everytime or jsut once to install the hack?

can i still use the hacked MC as a normal PS2 MC?

will it boot any apps automaticaly, (if i dont want to run homebrew do i have to remove the mem card from slot 1 everytime)?

is it possible to run homebrew from a USB flash drive instead of MC without the use of ARmax?

how do i run ELF's such as PGEN? when on MC or USB or CD?
thanks

you can still use the mc as normal memory card,
it will work only when you put a ps1 game on,
if you want to play ps1 game you remove the mc, or it will activate the exploit,
ti use home brew you can save it in the mc, or in a cd, you can set the mc exploit to boot to a preogram where you have homebrew preset for each buton, press the buton and it launches the homebrew, i only done it from mc so i dont know if usb works

I made uLaunchELF the target app of the ID Exploit. uLaunchELF will run homebrew programs from the mc, usb, cdvd, network, or hdd. You can set uLaunchELF's config file to run a particular app from the initial display at the touch of one button, or run uLaunchELF's browser and then locate and run programs from the sources mentioned above.

I set the config file for ULE so that one button launches SMS, and another launches PS2Link. I really need to install the latest PGEN and set another button for it.
