've been trying to play Phantasy Star Online ep 1 and 2 through a private server but it seems it won't connect. I am not sure if it is the broadband adapters problem or the server's problem. I was wondering if there is any way to check if my broadband adapter works. (like is there anyway to ping it or something.?

Try streaming files to / from the GameCube..
A mod-chip would help...
Or... Run GCOS1.5F through Phantasy Star Online <not sure how to do this, I'm sure there is a guide... and you can get GCOS1.5F from http://www.tehskeen.com/modules/Downloads/userfile.php?id=644 or GCOM 2.4 from http://www.tehskeen.com/modules/Downloads/userfile.php?id=808>
You'll be able to see if you can stream DOL files.. if possible, then the BBA Definately Works.. perhaps some network tweaking might be in order, like doing the network connection wizard.... and then right click on network properties and set up the TCP/IP settings to coordinate them with the BBA...
Other than that, can't think of anything else...

Thanks I'll check these out. As for the network settings, I don't play using a computer and gamecube but just a gamecube

Hope that works then... honestly don't know much about online play with the GC.. I DO know, that it is possible, through some private server hack thingy, to play Mario Kart: Double Dash ONLINE WITH PEOPLE.. as if they are simply on a network... dunno if you knew that one, but hope that helps in some way!
