install problem with red wire

this is my first time to do soldering stuff ... sort of dumb ..
anyway .. I am not sure how to connect the red wire
I am using a version c cube but I think version a and b do the same thing
Anyone could tell me how to make the red wire stay on that circle ?
I tired many time, it still not working

I installed my Qoob pro yesterday. I treated the solder point first with a flux pen, then soldered to the point. I had no problems getting it to stick and the qoob powered up first go.

Is it use for cleaning the surface ?

You use a Flux pen to clean the contact points for Soldering helps create a better joint

still get couple minor doubt ..
