What features do you want in Qoob 1.3?

I know the qoob team visits this forum, so I was wondering what features do you want to see in Qoob 1.3. Here is my short list:

Cheat Function like Viper has
More User Friendly Menu
Fix up the MP3 player more, colors, se entire song name (for long file names)

Name what else you want:

use the max possible storage of a 12cm DVD. Perhaps around 2 GB?

There s a bug with Games like Naruto 3 Backup :
With Bios 1.0 RC5 it works like a charm (but bios doesnt support audio fix) but with Bios 1.2 (and 1.1) it freezes after main menu.

I'm on a PAL Cube DOL 001 Drive 61 with a Qoob PRO.
Other people have the same problem ://

Maybe a little fix in next release would be welcome ;)

480P support that can be enable permenantly (i.e. a flag in the bios that can be enabled at time of programming.)

or a least an option that I can hold a button besides the B button, since we can't view the menu in 480P....only games when they boot.

This is important for running the GC on my PC monitor.

Definately I would like to see the clock fixed and also incorporate some sort of in game reset button combo using the controller, like you can with the Xbox. I know, I'm a lazy bugger ;)

So the only thing which doesn't work is some NES rip which doesn't work on *any* modchip? (i.e. is "broken")

-sd card browser, definitely :p
-that bug of date in the saves fixed too (although it doesn't seem to bother any game...)
-real gui
-some fixes with games (in beach spikers, there is a bug in certain events of training: the screen freezes, with a bip sound that keeps until you turn off the console, the 1.2 works better than the 1.1 for that part but it can still happen :p ), that's actually the only game i have a problem with, and i never even had to tweek the lens to make minidvd work...

Of course all that would be niced, although i remember thinking that once direct boot would be here with the possibility to browse dvd for dols, all my "wishes" would be fulfilled, so i'm just acting like a child here :o

There are quite a few things I'd like to see.

Practical expectations:
-A GUI Menu(insted of all the hold buttons)
- Time/Date Fix (this casues problems with PSO)
-Better gui for the MP3 PLayer
-Cheat Code Support
- SD file browser


Sort of Long shot expectations:
-Built emulation support for like DVDs with roms
- A video player (kinda like the mp3 player, but like uses Mplayer to play Avi, mpeg and other files off the DVD)
- A network Browser would be awsome. You could like make it be able to join a specified workgroup or something and actually be able to play music, videos, pics, and games off the network with out having to activly tell the ocmputer to send it.


I realize some of the above seem like real hard things, but It dosn;t seem like it would be too hard. Perhaps size would be a chalange.

Game Ripper (with sfv checksum or some kind of way to tell if a good rip)

Full path in file browser fix

Use the SD Memory card to store game saves of all the games, and the Mp3 player to work with Mp3 files on the SD card
