downgrade firmware possible?

hey all, Someone was playing my wii and somehow managed to update the firmware by accident. the bastards.

Anyways, now my cyclowiz isnt working.

So what i need to know is if there is currently a way around this, either by doing something to the cyclowiz or by reformatting/downgrading the firmware.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is no way to downgrade the firmware even if you reformat the machine it will still have the same firmware

But i have not heard about anybody else having problems after doing a normal system update so

So something else probably caused your problems

Just because two things happened at the same time does not mean they are necessarily related. No firmware locks out chips currently.

Try unplugging power for 5 minutes then see if chip works...
