My short wire wiikey attempt

Just done a short wire install of my wiikey, this is my first ever attempt at doing this kind of thing, everything seems to work fine :)

Was a bit worried at first, burnt the setup disc using nero on verbatim dvd-r at x4 speed and my wii wouldnt recognise it :eek:

Burnt again using dvd decrypter at x2.4 and worked fine.

Looks very nice, especially for a first attempt at soldering (I lifted a pad :( ).

I'd just like to recommend IMGBurn to burn your games. It's very easy to use and works great. I've been burning on Fujifilm DVD-R at 8-16x and no problems so far. :)

IMGburn doesnt like my setup, I got a lot of fails with that burning app, even though DVD decrypter is the early version of IMGburn...I get some sort of IDE callibration error...and so far ..360 backups included, have had no coasters with DVD decryptor...and was also my 1st nero coaster...which was why I was worried when the setup disc failed....there was no way I wanted to go and open up the wii and start desolderin/soldering again :p ..Its not until you get that chip in your hand that you realize how small it is :rolleyes: and have 2nd thoughts.

**** imgburn, use clonecd, and nice install job. Looks a bit sloppy but that's only because it's blown up 1000x actual size. Have fun.
