I've been having trouble getting this to accept the changes I make.
At first the save file on my card was from a few days ago
I had read some topics for using it with the m3, and having to save, turn off the ds, turn it on and then turn it off. Not sure if this applied, but I tried it anyway, and this updated the save on my card to my current data
I've tried deleting the .sav from my card, and then drag and drop, or copy and paste, even cut and paste the editied .sav
After I load the game nothing has changed, and now the edited .sav has been reverted back to the original one
I've had no luck with it so far though
Does anyone know if it can work with the Supercard DS one?
I can't really see it as being impossible, just might require something specific I havent thought of.
I know I had to disable the 'enable patch' settings to get the game to save at all when i first started to play, and now whenever I turn it on it says 'Save Saving!' before I can choose the game I want to play
Thanks in advance for any help, and I do appologize if this has been answered already, but I really have tried looking

did you use pokesav v 0.38b?
and did you saved ingame before changing?
if you did then open the .sav on your SD card, do whatever you want, and press Save!
This should work with the supercard sd... because i got one and it works over here...
if this still doesn't work then you should get the newest drivers/software for your supercard.:D

i'm using "pokesav_038b_english_translation_0[1].3"
and I have all the updated drivers
I have gotten it to work once now, but I'm not sure how, as every attempt after that so far as resulted in the same problem I had before...
Trying to recreate everything I might have done the time it worked, I'll post my results once I figure this out
Could be useful for others.
Edit:
still racking my brains on this...
I think I know what's going on now, but I have no clue whatsoever what I need to do to get more consistent results...
What seems to be the problem is that the rom is outputing a .sav file, however, it is not using the .sav file when I boot it up. It's just using it's internal saved game, doesn't matter what .sav it is supposed to use
I still have no idea how/why it used the .sav files I edited twice now, but after well over a hundred tries, only 2 successful attempts means I'm not doing something right
At least I know it 'can' work... just a matter of getting it to work for me
Does anyone know anything about perhaps manually patching in the .sav file to the rom?
Or perhaps how I might have gotten it to accept the .sav already without realizing how?

I even tried deleting the one from the sd and putting in the edited one nothing has changed. i mean if the file wasnt working i was expecting it to like make me start a new game or something but it just starts of where i left of, if any one manage to get PokeSav to work for their DS One please tell me how they got it to work thank you.

Alright, I've had it working for some time now. This is exactly what I do, and it has given me 100% success
Start in pokemon with your game loaded.
Save the game.
Shut off the DS completely.
Load any game, wait till you see anything. (Just make sure the game has booted up, I usually just wait to see the name of the company that made it. Namco or Bandai or whatever for that specific game)
This is when I make a backup of the pokemon save file. After it has been backed up to your computer, delete it from the memory card.
Now I go back into pokemon, and it'll say "welcome to the world of pokemon!" Or whatever it says when you normally start a new game
Shut off the DS completely.
Load any game, wait till you see anything. (Just make sure the game has booted up, I usually just wait to see the name of the company that made it. Namco or Bandai or whatever for that specific game)
Now I edit the pokemon save file I backed up.
Drag and drop it to the memory card. You'll get a popup asking if you want to overwright the file. say yes.
This has worked for me 100%, removing any steps throughout it has given me mixed results and sometimes doesn't work... Try this out and let me know if it works ^_^

I followed those steps and now when I try to load my game it says the save file is corrupted. Is there any way to get my backup save working again since it won't work with these steps either.
edit: It was a pokesav issue, I changed the number of pokemon in my party and everything is working great.
