Noob pokesav question

First, I must applogies cause I think this is a noob question, but I can't find the anser.

Can I use pokesav with a real copy of the game, if so, how do I dump the .sav?

Eepinator is what I use, its a reinmoon clone with DLDI. http://blog.davr.org/2007/03/31/eepinator/
Also need a flashcart that can support either of thoes applications. :cool:

so, eepinator works great except somewhere the Game ID gets lost of the file. Any idea how I can fix it?
