Hello world ^^

Is it possible to read some divx files from the gecko ?
I think that it is possible but how ?
Here is a point on the read-me.txt :

"6. ENHANCEMENTS

This same concept can be enhanced and/or used with other small applications.

For example, once we have a working MMC/SD layer, there will be no need
to burn the mfe-fs.bz2 file on DVD media and we will have the possibility
to load it from a MMC/SD card. Media files could be also stored on
MMC/SD cards."

There is a special version of the MFE-distro that allows you to play videos from the gecko. However it will only work with videos that are encoded with a low bitrate, since the datarate that the memory-card-slots can delifer isn't high enough. Videos with a higher bitrate will stutter.

Btw. do you know that you can switch discs? You can boot the normal MFE distro and than switch to a movie-DVD. Maybe that's the right thing for you.

I'm not interested in playing videos with my Wii. I'm interested in playing mp3. I own Excite truck and play music while playing. I'm a new Wii user so don't know. But, can my Nintendo Wii play mp3 files without playing a game? I'm not talking about a 'hacking process', I mean if my default Wii can play mp3 in that way.

now it work for me BUT a very little bug I have noticed :
The up direction and the down direction in the GC controler have been swapped !!!!!

Yeah, unfortunatelly not much people knows about the SD Gecko power :D :cool:
