don't do it.

There is a lot of these made by ppl who do not know how to solder, and you don't want that.

I've done plenty of wii's and can tell you that quicksoldering is never a good idea. Using wires is easier, neater, and easier to remove if you screw up or want to replace the chip. I also highly recommend not soldering it yourself if you have no previous soldering experience, especially with micro pcb's. I taught myself on xbox's so I'm used to the delicate soldering so the wii is a breeze for me, but if you've never soldered your in for a rude awakening when you see how small the points are.

My first soldering experience was my own xbox 1, with an xecuter header pin install... didnt go SUPER smooth, but it went alright. Still works to this day no problems. From there i did 3 or 4 other friend's xboxes...

When it came time to do the Wii i let a friend do it cause he had more experience than me... when i saw how small everything was i was like DAMN im glad im not doing this! (It ended up being a botched install anyway haha)

No, I'm all for an installers thread but for now zeus doesn't want it so I have respect his wishes. Hopefully he comes around and lets me start one, but for now there won't be for a while.
