My friend said he could solder, but as you can see he really only knows how to burn things. Is there anyway I can correct this?
I have a Cyclowiz V2 chip.
Points G & V are fine, its A, B, and C I'm obviously having trouble with
After a couple of posts, I'd like to make note that I want to fix this myself. I'm just one of those people that likes to do things themself. I get as much gratification out of installing something than I do using it.

Is the Wii still working? If yes bring the Wii to someone who can actually solder and let him solder the chip to the legs of the drive-controller.

the wii is still completely functional, thing is I can solder. I do it when I change things up on my car stereo. I let my buddy do it cuz he took some shop class in highschool were he did that kind of stuff. And since I never had to solder small things and he did I let him do it. If you can show me were to get a guide on how to do it the way you said I know I can do it.

Not to laugh at your misfortune, but the way you worded that made me burst out laughing.
On a brighter note, Im sure it can be fixed. There seem to be some really good professionals floating around these boards.

There is a way to salvage it. You will have to trace the points back to the main board controller chip right below those points and solder wires to each leg that corresponds to one of the burned points. It's not gonna be easy, but it's defintely fixable.

thanks for the help
If anyone knows of a different way feel free to speak up

Would it be possible for me to create my own solder points on the board? It's hard to tellin the picture that they are there, but I can still see the points that should be there.

The best way is to solder the wires to the legs of the IC chip. If you feel that your soldering skills are not good enough, there are many people around that will do it for a decent price.

Oh this is going to be good.
Yeah, dude, GO FOR IT! It's just about EXACTLY the same as soldering the wires together when doing car audio.
