Major Nelson has just been informed that both The Daily Show and The Colbert Report will now be available on Xbox Live Marketplace.
Starting today, you’ll be able to download the latest ‘The Daily Show’ and ‘The Colbert Report’ on the Xbox LIVE Video Marketplace. They are being posted just hours after they air…so props to the VMP team for the staying up REAL late to make this happen. This means that if you miss the airing from the previous night or forgot to set the DVR you can just head over to the VMP and grab the complete shows.

Stupid Microsoft.. First they have some halo competition with the grand prize being a trip to Prague.. (as if conservative heartland Americans give a crap about the cultural richness of Prague)..

And now they are offering the two really huge liberally (media-) biased shows. I think MS has delusions about its customers.

They'd be better off with trips to Vegas, and creating some all-new XBL-exclusive Ann Coulter show..

Lol duh. I just think it's funny that they have done these things. It's like the grand prize for the miss america beauty pageant being a hummer with a gun rack, and a lifetime subscription to playboy. I mean, that's a nice prize any way you slice it. It's free stuff with a high monetary value. This remains true, even for a woman. But you'd certainly wonder what was going on in the heads of the show's organizers..

It'd be like Nintendo holding a Nintendogs tournament, and the grand prize would be a trip to Amsterdam (get your hash cookies here!) instead of Disneyworld or LegoLand (which, if you go to the main one in Denmark, you might still have some time left for Amsterdam).

To me its just ironic that they are a big business (conservative republican) pushing these liberal shows. Damn and I thought my observation would be original, seems I'm not the only educated person around here.

Um, Colbert Report is hardly a liberal show. It is the conservative version of the Daily Show.

Colbert Report is just as liberal as the Daily Show they are just mocking the format of conservative cable news shows like Bill O'Reilly's, if you didn't notice that you should probably stop smoking whatever is that you are smoking...
