Gamestop increase Xbox 360 trade-in value

Gamestop have increased the trade in value of the XBOX 360 core and premium. The initiative is aimed at those who are interested in the Elite but don't need a second 360.

The trade in value for the premium and the core will get you $250 and $200 of in store credit.

Hahah $250 for a premium so they can resell it for $379.99. Gamespot and EB really need to go away...

$250 isnt great, but its not terrible either for someone not looking to go through ebay. You basically got to play the system for a year for $150.

I think they're assholes because they will not let you upgrade to the elite with a replacement warranty. So if my 360 broke and i wanted to replace it and pay the extra $80, they wont allow it and will only replace it with another premium.

I'd take the $200 trade-in if I bought a Core at launch. The system is probably about ready to die anyways.
