Team Xtender revealed their innovative Viper GC crystal Case featuring a vibrant LED lighting system.
Just to make this *crystal* clear (pun intended) Team Xtender have made two versions of our replacement lids , the first being a bog standard no frills type full size dvd-r replacement lid and the second features the LED lighting kit.

Looks pretty good, I'd like to see some more pictures though.
Oh, and nukleuzdj, I'm sure you unplug one of the things on the fan assembly, plug in the leds, then plug the other wire back into the top, so that it passes through. Or something very similiar.
and this is in the dark.... seems a bit TOO bright (the led).
agreed though, we need some more pics. Xtender and Xecuter both have awesome cases....but no pics to show them off. Cmon!!

I'm sure they haven't ditched viper branding Hajaz, these pics are just probably before the branding has been put on :)

I hope they did ditch it.
I'd prefer if the 'ViperGC branding' was a sticker or something.
It'd be a better marketing strategy anyway since the case will then appeal to non-viper users.

I highly doubt that it is just a sticker, as they teamed up with Viper and are BRANDING their cases.

cool video (I like the music). I might buy it, strip the leds out, and throw them in my xecuter case :D . I doubt that they would care, as long as I actually bought the case.

Nothing special in my opinion - then again I do prefer subtlety.
<waits for the xecuter case and hopes it looks as nice in reallife as it does in the renders>

God, can't they release the damn case already and come up later with a deluxe version with led and that kind of thing. We keep hearing news about replacement case being in the work by 2 or 3 company but nobody have released those darn case yet. I just want to be able to use my gamecube without the top cover removed.

coudnt agree more!! I coudnt care for all these LED mods and crap. Just release a dahm case will ya's!

Eh, I think the leds are overkill cuz u can do that stuff yourself. Althought the spot for the programmer and usb thing in the xecuter case is important to me.

They're pretty good lookin. I think I might buy one to hold me over till the xecuter case comes out. Like the viper branding, but it'd be nice if there was a pop-in jewel insted.
Lookin good. Nice to see that they are releasing 3 versions. I will be getting the first one, as i hate all those lights and waz bang crap. I want to see pics of it in Black. Spose ill just have to wait a bit.

I agree on the matter that they should go ahead and release the standard version already. I mean, If I would have one with all those lights I think I would get seizures lol. Who the hell wants that?

great news that theyre finally coming out..especially right now since im looking for a replacement lid. :)
again..im with the rest of you guys..id pick up the standard version. i dont care for all the led crap. hopefully they'll come in clear colour like the gamecubecases ones. not sure which one i will be picking up...guess i'll wait and see more pics of the offical viper cases and maybe a review or 2.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're built in which sux cuz that means you can't change em out.
