Today, Capcom has announced 4 games will be making their way to both the Xbox Live Arcade as well as the PS Network.
The games are:
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil, Talisman.
Director of Capcom brand marketing Jack Symon describes the reasoning behind bringing these games to downloadable form.
Following in the footsteps of our highly successful Street Fighter II Xbox Live title, these projects represent the beginnings of a much larger ‘Capcom Digital Initiative’ focused around the limitless creativity and community development that can happen with downloadable content models.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix downloads Capcom’s incredibly popular puzzle game into the new generation. This fall, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo comes to Xbox LIVE Arcade, PLAYSTATION® Network and PC in its greatest incarnation to date. The new version of the game features newly created 1080p HD graphics, several new game modes, improved game balance, new stage backgrounds courtesy of Udon Entertainment and online play.

there is a HUGEEEE difference with street fighter 2 turbo and super street fighter 2 turbo. it's a whole new game basicly.
everyone has supers, everyone has alot more different moves. the mechanics itself overall has changed. ssf2turbo on LIVE will be amazing. the fighters scene will definitely eat that up all day.

Yeah, many non-fans (or at least non-hardcore fans) think there is nothing different with the games but a single word added and maybe a character or two. Well I can tell you they are different games and most certainly worth spending points on even if you own the Street Fighter II Turbo that is currently out.
Capcom made a ton a Street Fighter II and its many revisions, looks like that continues.
I have these games in the Street Fighter II series
Street Fighter Anniversary Edition - PS2
Street Fighter II - SNES
Super Street Fighter II - SNES
Street Fighter II Special Championship Edition - Genesis
Super Street Fighter II - Genesis
Street Fighter II: World Warrior - SNES
Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighter - SNES
Street Fighter Anniversary Edition - Xbox
Street Fighter Collection Vol 1 - PS1
Street Fighter Collection Vol 2 - PS1
Street Fighter Collection Vol 1 - Sega Saturn
Super Street Fighter II - Grand Master Challenge (JAP IMPORT) - Dreamcast
Street Fighter II: The Movie - Sega Saturn
Super Street Fighter II - New Challengers - SNES
Capcom Classics Collection Vol 2 - Xbox
Super Street Fighter II Turbo - Revival - GBA
Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded - PSP
Super Street Fighter II - New Challengers - PC (DOS)
Super Street Fighter II Turbo - PC (DOS)
That is all I can see right now, I may have 1 or 2 more.

Puzzle Fighter. Ah yes. To me, a pipe dream as significant as Castlevania SOTN. I can really see myself plunking down cash for a gold account, solely for Puzzle Fighter.
Definitely need to start looking into that DIY arcade stick now, though.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS *DROOOOOOOOOOL* MUST ....HAVE.....MVC2........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i actually have a sad story to go along with marvel vs capcom 2. as you can see from my sig i own an xbox1. well capcom announced mvc2 for xbox1 on LIVE up until about ohhhh 48 hours before the game came out!!! so i went out and bought a new xbox1 right before capcom announced they werent gonna have it on LIVE. I was soooo heartbroken. Till this day, I have yet to get LIVE for any other game. sad but true story.
i'm pretty sure i'm going to fork over some money for UMK3 and SSF2T for LIVE this coming year. those 2 games are pretty much nothing short of amazing.
