Resistance: Fall of Man for Xbox 360

Unfortunately though, it's only available on the Xbox Live video marketplace as part of a Sony launch special. Sorry to get your hopes up.

The "shoots everything" best them you can find only on Xbox 360, I believe that is an useless title, considering that in opinion of many, at the present moment the best is Gear Of War!.

Resistance isn't that big a deal, it is little more than Call of duty with aliens, which while ok is not outstanding. It's nice if you have a PS3 as it one of the rare breed, as it is somthing you can't get on a 360 (and it is ironic that the 360 is refered to as an FPS console when the PS3's main game is one), however it is not really on a par with Call of duty 3 or 2 for that matter in my opinion, and is far behind the likes of lost planet or gears of war, if you want an alien blast fest. I woudln't exactly go along with his comment, but my friend thought it was an Xbox 1 game when he saw my xbox on next to the PS3, lol it did get him to go buy a 360 that afternoon tho, especially after I told him we could play system link las vegas (didn't do too bad either £300, 2 wireless pads and the duff 64mb memcard with 4 good games, GoW, raninbow 6 las vegas, PGR3 and lost planet, the 360 has some reaaly good dealls for it at the mo).

Well actually I was making a vain attempt at showing the irony of his statement, but maybe i was too subtle. I guess I am a fanboy but I can't decide for what, i have no preference for any console or pc, but then I do like playing around with the missus over all of them (thats how i broke my dreamcast, but I won't go into further detail :D ), so I guess I am a female fanboy :D :D :D

Exactly. It's cool, and worth a play, but it's not greatness. It's definitely no FPS to rule them all. I'm sure it'll be better than Killzone2 though...lol

lol. He probably is, I just love his signature. But anyway, I've played it and it's nothing to get riled up about, I really hope it doesn't come to the 360. The PS3 Port would surely NOT have rumble.

I've always loved the "GoW=crap" snobbery thats been going around for the last few months. Granted, there are problems with the game (lack of modes, short campaign, exploitable glitches, etc.), and it certainly isn't everybody's cup of tea, but "crap?" Really? Down there with Barbie Horse Adventures and Azurik? Wow, you must be a real gamer. Rock on like Donkey Kong, dude. But thanks for straightening me out -- now I feel like an ass I've been enjoying beautiful, adrenaline-pounding gunfights with my friends.

But I can recognize that Project 8 offers some new gameplay mechanics and that there are pros and cons to streetball vs. NBA/college games. Seems to me for a game to be "crap" it needs to fail on multiple fronts: graphics, control, design, sound, mechanics, etc. So fire away with your GoW problems. U guys are all a bunch of X-Box fanboys. I have both gears of war and resistance fall of man and I would definitely have to say resistance is better. First of all 8p online really sucks once you have played 40p games on resistance.
Resistance also has way bigger maps and with every update we get new maps and new game modes. And there are 14 different weapons in resistance all which have alternate fire and 4 different types of grenades. The only thing that i would have to say is better about Gears is the headshots.

Blah Blah Blah...fanboy this, fanboy that, Abraham hit me with a wiffle ball bat. Good for you, you own all the game systems in the world, so you must not be a fanboy yourself. But the people who support the 360 and do not put down the PS3 at all, just basicly say we don't want Resistence on the 360, are fanboys. Riiight. Not to mention that I actually recomended playing the game on the PS2. rofl.


The Bad: Frame rate is frequently unstable; no online support; skater creation options aren't as in-depth as they have been in previous installments.


It's certainly disappointing that the PlayStation 3 is so far behind the Xbox 360 game. Framerate issues are apparent at every other turn, and the lack of online play really hurts. Project 8 is a worthy game to pick up, just preferably not on this system


There are times where Project 8 slows down and the character clips through the wall and floor when you bail, like you're doing some David Blaine street magic.

But, don't let every one of these credible sources hurt your post. Funny though, IGN even said the PS3 version had bad frame rates, and they're always backing Sony no matter what.
