Hi

I read somewhere in the WiiFree forums, that most current modchips do not support multi-disc games. However, the CycloWiz should work, according to the featurelist. I wonder if this is really true, since the new WiiRez chip, which also claims to support multi-disc games (for GameCube) uses an additional cable for that. It's soldered near the ribbon connector on the drive bord.
So, has anyone successfully tested the multi-disc feature with the CycloWiz ? Maybe with Resident Evil 4 or Lord of the Rings - The third Age ?

Edit: I'm talking about the backup of originals of course, the originals itself should be no problem ^^

Thanks for the reply. So you can just swap the disc when the game asks you to do that, and it will continue ? I wonder why the WiiRez uses an additional wire then

Check out the "J" spot near the connector for the ribbon cable...

Hmm...noone has actually tested a swap-point during gameplay ?
I really wonder if the additional wire the WiiRez is using is needed...

Actually, I kind of wonder how all these chips have the same functionality, but they all seem to use different solder points. I don't quite understand why if all these chips are hacking the disk drive, they don't all use the same points to do so. I believe that 1, 2, 3, A, and S on your layout above are used by all, but WiiKey uses the pad to the left of the 1 and cyclowiz uses two other pads that aren't marked at all. I'm very confused how if they're all exploiting the same vulnerability, they don't all use just the same points.
