I have gone through the second 2nd cyclowiz chip now and nothing works on the console. I bought a Wiikey and installed it with wires just like the Cyclowiz and it works perfect. I returned the first Cyclowiz back to Diveneo US region. I had to spend $15 dollars in the envolope so they can replace me a new one. I waited for about 2 weeks and then finally received my new 2nd cyclowiz chip and installed it with wires and it was a no go. I don't know whay to do with the chip now. I don't want to spend another $15 to resend it back to Diveneo. What should I do with the chip so I can my money back? The Wiikey is installed on the system and it works great.

hate to burst your bubble but the wiikey has a much higher doa rate then the cyclowiz hence why they made the announcement that they would replace all doa chips

Sadly, I can at least confirm ONE DOA Wiikey chip because I got it! :( Spent 4 hours including commute to someone's house who I found on the Internet only to find that my chip was DEAD! I bought mine from Eurasia and I just sent it back and hopefully I will get a replacement... someday. DOA is the worst because you can't test the Wiikey before you go through the trouble of removing every sticker, screw, etc and soldering and then testing the system out. The installer tried twice at the soldering (via wire) because he thought the placement might be off, but that failed also! :( I left feedback on Wiikey's website, but no one seems to care enough to respond over there. Real pain the you know what!

Funny, I would suggest the EXACT opposite. Again, they all do the same thing, but from all the posts I've seen about DOA WiiKeys in addition to all the WiiKey clones out in the market, I'd feel safer getting a cyclowiz. Personally I ordered one and if you look at my posts, I'm a noob, never soldered before in my life and had very little trouble putting it in. (outside of the knot in my stomach when I saw how tiny the solder points were on the board) Really, the bottom line is that any chip does the exact same thing and it really doesn't matter.

go with the cheapest one you can fine, right now, the 11 dollar wiikey is the winner, which works great in my wii.
