Are you able to get a close up of the soldering work area so I can compare mine? :)

tx-ram-do you have a DOL-101 cube? If so, I'll try to take some more pics of the soldering job. Also www.qoobchip.com has good up-close pics of where the wires should be placed.

Correct :) And I have a DOL-001 Rev A/B but I want to see the soldering job :) I had no idea it would be so tiny.

Are there any pros in the GTA that are willing to help me? ;)

tX_ram: I know the feeling about the points looking smaller than the pictures. All I can say is take your time and you should be fine. Now, if you want to see some small points, check out a PS2, thats small.

justinkb: yes, it is supposed to be with teeth, I guess my source mis-spelled it. I've never really paid attention to the title name until you showed me. Btw, that is a really good album.

Thanks guys but I got it to load.. somewhat.. Qoob loading screen is fine but when I start a game, the screen is shifted to the right by about 1/8 of the screen. ?? Weird..

PS2's are insane, I've modded a lot of xbox's(50+), and 10+ gamecubes, and I would never mod one of those.

I've been soldering since I was 8 years old, and the only thing that ever was a problem was a ps2. Ive done gamecubes fine, but i killed my friends ps2 trying to mod it. I might be able to fix it, but im not touching it again till i get a magnifying glass, lol.
