View Full Version : Missing resistors help?

Ive received a knackered Wii today to install a Wiikey after the person before me lifted pads etc. However upon closer inspection, ive noticed a couple of resistors are missing!!! Does anyone happen to know what values they are so i can replace them, i dont have my Wii to hand at present.

why don't you ask nintendo, they are the only ones that know...

I may be doing a mod tonight and if you don't have your answer by then I can get a resistance reading for them.

how can you be certain that they are even resistors? maybe they are diodes... or even fuses. :confused:

they maybe capacitors as well.

have to look at next unit i do, as never seen those accidently removed so never paid close attention to them.

Okay the one on the lower left is a 100k and I'm getting no resistance on the upper right so I think that one is a fuse.

LOLOL i remembered my friend used my ps1 back back in the day to try to mod and he accidentally lifted up a fuse. great laughs all night long.

blotched mods are top tier.

Lol, the guy who sent it me must have slipped with his 50 watt iron. Thanks for that dipswitch. Guess ill just bridge it and hope then.
