Wiikey install, weird noises playing originals

So i installed my wiikey perfectly. I can play backup's no problem. However i just threw in an original, now i'm noticing a weird low hum. This low hum vibrates the whole wii and makes like burrrrr kinda sound at startup and throughout the whole game play. I'm not sure if i heard this b4 the mod (i wasn't really paying attention i guess), but when playing backups, i don't hear this weird low hummm sound.. only makes the sound when playing Original Games. Any thoughts? Anyone else having this problem?

I have the same issue and my Wii isn't modded so it's not the chips fault.

Thanks.. that's good to know, i guess. I'm just shocked i never noticed that sound before.. lol.

Have you seen any ill effects from this low humming? Like game freezes, DRE, etc. I just got my wii and was debating if i should just return it and try to get another one.. or if this low hum issue is just a benign problem? Thanks! :D
