I have gotten Warioware PAL and the disk is detected, but it does not work (blacks out). It could be my TV, but the wiimote isn't connected and can't. I used setup v1.0 if there's any difference. Any way to make it work?

I beleive i have read that using pal tv's and ntsc games work better if you can choose 60 instead of 50 for tv setting. Now if you are trying to use a pal on NTSC would mean game would need to support 60 TV setting to work on a normal ntsc tv.

But remember some games will not work proper as imports.

Why not just use a wario NTSC version.

My friend had the PAL version, so I just got that. Also, yes I mean PAL onto an NTSC console. Isn't NTSC already in 60 mode? And it's HD, so it accepts 480p if that matters. So it just doesn't plain work?

Not all PAL games are compatible with NTSC Wii's. Mod chips replace a certain byte in memory basically forcing the game to run in NTSC mode (Patching the ISO before burning has the same effect).

Check here for PAL -> NTSC compatibility.

I noticed that Warioware PAL to NTSC is not on the list but NTSC to PAL is.

But a black screen is normal if the game can not be played on a NTSC console.
