What are my options with Divineo

I ordered and sent a money order for a wiikey on April 19 and they still have not recieved it. I asked the post office if there was anyway to cancel the money order and they said there wasn't. If i was to cancel the order would i get my money back if they recieve it?

a few things.

no.1 this is not april 19th.

no.2 yea you can cancel it and get your money but you have to call the back of the stub (HOPEFULLY YOU KEPT THAT). as far as i remember they charge like 12 or 13 dollars for you to cancel that money order.

no.3 you sent it to divineo where? canada, .com, asia?

no.4 you sent it via regular mail with regular postage outside of the US?

1. I sent the money order on march 19
2. By stub do you mean like the translucent sheet that you get with the recit
3. i live in canada and sent it to there canadian ardress
4. sent with regular canada post

when you get a money order there is a small piece that you tear off and you keep that small piece saying the amount of the money order. that is the only proof that you have of the money order. if you sent the whole thing without keeping that small piece there is no proof you sent it, unlike a check where you can check your bank.

i've had sooo many people send me money orders with the stub not torn off for proof i could've been an ass hole and kept the money and not say a thing. it's literally the same thing as sending cash through mail if you dont keep that stub.

but yea they should've already have received your money order by now.

call the number on the back of it. follow the instructions and see if they have cashed in the money order. if it's not cashed in and they dont get it in the next week i'd go get the money back. you'll probably get -12 dollars out of it but whatever.

Not to be a smart ass, but is there anything on the back of that? I'm just trying to help, not give you $hit. The only other thing I could think of is to go back to where you got it and ask them what can/needs to be done to cancel the money order and get a refund. As another poster said, they will probably hit you up for some of the total for their processing fee. Again, though, I'm basing this on how things are here in the US, that doesn't necessarily mean that Canada works the same.

It's used for validating money orders in Canada, but maybe they can help you out. As far as I understand a MO is as good as cash and once someone has it then it is theirs.

oh and as for the foundmy comment.......seems like a good guys but good luck getting them to talk to you. They never reply to their e-mails and seem a little paranoid.


I have cancelled items from Divineo before without problems. Even returns have gone smooth in the past. Let us know how it turns out.
