I'm having some problem with a PAL game. It's the DOA Volleyball game, it does not want to boot. It is in my games list with evox, but when I select it and press A, it just hangs, the phoenix load screen doesn't go away. Anyone else tried some other PAL game and did it work?

Also, I just carried my xbox to a friend with a beamer. And the beamer was getting no signal when the phoenix screen showed up. The normal xbox animation did show up and after a while evox also showd up, but it was getting no signal for about 2 times. Maybe that's also a bug?

Other stuff works just fine, like UltraXLE and games, only app that was not working properly was xsnes9x, the screen was black&white, and then for 1 second normal colours, then it switches back to black&white and so on. It does work normal with my television though...

Hope this is useful info somehow...

It is likely that the DOAV problem is related to the eeprom key / save game issue as mentioned in the recent news on maxconsole.com. Stay tuned for the next release which should fix this problem.

I've installed the phoenix loader 1.2 now and it still doesn't work. Dead or Alive 3 does work, and it has almost the same files as doav...

The DOAV also creates a savegame at my harddisk (I see it at the dashboard) so it does something...

Maybe it's an issue with the x2 bios i'm using?

Are you making sure to disable all IGR options in your dashboard before playing?

Are you Attempting to run DOA-XBV from retail dvd, or elsewise?

I'm trying to run DOAXVB (PAL version) from harddisk. It's in the e:\complex\games\doax folder.

All of my other games work fine (I all run them from my harddisk)

Problem fixed :)

I'm using phoenix loader 1.3 and evox bfm bios and it works perfect now!

It would not boot with the x2 4977 bfm bios and phoenix 1.3
