Need Help: DMS Explorer

Ok, so I just got a DMS4 EZI Pro. Can anyone give me a newb's guide to installing and booting dms explorer of the chip memory, and also how to set up a harddrive to be compatible with dms explorer?

You would be better off installing Toxic OS which can be downloaded from their website http://www.teamtoxic.com.cn

I to have just recently purchased the DMS4 EZI PRO. It was pretty easy to install. But, I am having problems with transferring the TOXIC OS software to my PS2. It won't even read the Sony CD-R or CD-RW media to allow me to update the chip? I keep getting the "insert playstation or playstation 2 format disc" screen. I did all the steps that the guide I read said, yet it won't work. I have a V9 and I know the chip is installed correctly and the laser is in great working order. I thought the chip was to allow the playstation to read burned media? Any suggestions??
