Qoob Bios v1.1 EasterEgg?

Hold Z and boot your qoob. You will get the message HACKED =) at the top of your screen. Wonder if it has any meaning? Sorry if this has been discussed before.

The reason that it does that is because thats what it does with the Cobra bios, and they took some of the code from Cobra/Anaconda, so this is obviously part of the code that they copy and pasted, probably without even realizing it.

by the way, I think it's pretty gay the thread with the evidence qoob has stolen stuff from cobra was deleted.

I deleted the thread as it was nothing, but a flaming war. If you want to slander eachother and guess who made the code go ahead, but do it someplace else.

As for proof that Qoob stole code from Cobra we don't need any. We all know both teams steal code from eachother. Who cares ...

uh.. that is downright fucking stupid.
it's what is called a joke in response to the viper bios doing the same thing, and also to show that that bios can play backups (the official one on the website can't).
if you knew anything about code and coding at all, you wouldn't make postings like that.

Actually, what you're saying is stupid. I think if qoob was going to make a joke of it then they would have changed something, in order to, you know, actually make it somewhat funny.

The whole base of their bios was(don't think it still is) Cobra 0.3. They also added their own for direct boot etc. They said that right in the NFO for Qoob bios 1.2, so that pretty much proves what I said to be true.

I will not be replying to this thread anymore, as I can tell it will just be turned into a flaming war.

I wasn't trying to flame anyone. I'm just sticking up for you because I know you're right. If they were making a joke they would've changed something, otherwise it's not funny.
