Problem with Qoob and the Wavebird

Ok heres my problem. I use a wavebird as my main controller, because my couch is about 15 feet from the TV. Anyways with the gamecube of mine that has the Qoob installed in it, the wavebird is always responsive in the Qoob bios, but when I go to play a backup, the wavebird only works about half the time. Sometimes I have to reset my gamecube 5 times or more before it will work. Once it starts working, it works the whole time that I am playing the game.

I know it's not the wavebird, as it works perfectly in my gamecube that has a Viper, and also in a unmodded gamecube. Also it works fine if I go into the original bios through the Qoob menu and play an original game.

Anyone else have/had this problem?

i think its a known bug. i remember reading about it before

Hopefully it's fixed in the next bios release, as it is very annoying, and I hate using 2 extension chords to be able to use a regular controller.

i'm confident they'll copy & paste some more vipergc ASM into their code to fix this problem =p

Yeah, time to stop talking about it. It is proven that they used some of the code, but we are not sure how much. If they did use a ton of the code, theres nothing we can do about it. They have proven they know what they are doing, as they have coded quite a few good features. So even if they did steal the code, they are now adding to the scene, so time to stop bitching about it.

just coz u post more dosnt mean you are a better member. Who cares who copied what, we should be appreciative we have the GC-Scene at where it is now. Late, but its finally coming to its strengths!
