Qoob and DRE's

All the games I have burned play fine up to a certain point in each game.

Example 1: Paper Mario plays until I try to go down the first pipe. When it goes to load the next stage it DRE's and never loads.

Example 2: Mario Power Tennis playes till the second Tournament then DRE's and never loads.

Is there a way to reduce the number of DRE's

Also is there a tutorial to tweek the laser.

Those sound like either bad burns or bad images, because ity happens in the same place everytime. What burner are you using?

using a pioneer dvd-r 4X not sure of the model but it is older. i am using tdk media too.

Is there a way to have more consistant burns?

Look in nero, or download dvdinfopro and see what the exact model is. Make sure that you have the latest firmware for the dvd burner too.

I guess I am just impatient. I was running paper mario and at the point of where I thought it froze I got up and got a soda leaving it on for about 30 seconds or so and when I came back it had loaded past that point. I did it another time to confirm that. So I guess that I don't have the issues that I thought. I am an xbox guy so I am use to all the games being on my hard drive and not taking so long to load. I can handle the extra load time given the circumstance.
