Ok, I have a Cyclowiz installed that works perfectly. Well, most of the time.
I have Cyclowiz V2 on a D2B Chipset w/ on/off switch.
All games I have tried thus far boot and work like a champ (Zelda/Super Monkey/Sports/Sonic/Ant BullyRed Steal/Splinter Cell). However, last night I was playing Zelda for about 2 hours straight when I got an error that it couldn't read the disk. I turned the power off and back on and it happened again within 2 minutes of playing. This was at a different part of the game mind you.
This is the 2nd time this has happened. The first time I was playing the backup for an extended time when it failed. I put in the original disk and it went for awhile but also failed. Luckily that taught me to save often!
Anyways, I have my Cyclowiz soldered right onto the board with electrical tape over the "processor" part of the chip per the instructions.
Any chance this thing is heating up and failing?
I'm going to do some more testing tonight. Any similar experiences?
