I just attempted to install my Wiikey I was successful in installing it but now it will read only original disk and not dvdrs. So I must have somehow have not connected all the points I dont have the proper equipment to test and redo so I am looking for someone to fix/reinstall it. The chip is currently installed and the Wii is back together. I tried several time resoldiering the wires and poits but with same results.

I started using the quick soldier method but realized that wasnt gonna work but only after I soldier the 2 larger points to the wii drive so now its stuck on there and I cant get it off. So for the rest of the install I used old ide cut wires but I guess that didnt work It all appears fine to the naked eye but I know its not because it wont read backedup games. Can anyone fix this for me cheap, I am in Indiana and someone local would be best but I can and will ship if I find the right person to help.

LOL, you said you successfully installed it. I suggest you look up successful in a dictionary. You did not succeed.

1. get a multimeter read the point, check for links
2. remove the chip, check the pads for link
3. re install the chip with wire/quick install, then re check for link on the points (modchip)

finally, no u did not sucessfully install a mod chip. sucess = work, not working = screw up job.
