First time poster over here...
I have a D2B and I recently installed a Cyclowiz v.2.
To date, I have had NO problems what so ever with any game. I've tested Red Steel, Zelda, Sports, Ant Bully and Splinter Cell thus far. All games I backed up myself and have worked to a "t."
My question, to you out there, is if you have the same chipset and mod, what problems do you have that I need to be on the watch for.
I'm thinking of getting a Wiikey and should have done my homework first, but, oh well.
Just wondering what all the complaining about the Cyclowiz' is for.
Thanks!

Call of Duty + SpongeBob + Rayman does not work.
&
Video/Audio stutterings in some games. (Wario Ware, Tony Hawk, Elebits,...)
However, there is already an update available that fixes all of the problems with the abovelisted games.
BUT the update is only for DMS/D2A chipsets.
They said, they would release a new update for D2B users shortly, so you have to wait a little bit.
Conclusion = No need to buy a WiiKey :)

I think I have the same question as dlanoz. I have a d2b ntsc wii with cyclowiz v2. I don't expect to play any imports. All the ntsc backups I have work fine. If I don't update to version 3 for d2b (if it ever gets released), will I have problems playing any future games?

No one knows because no one can tell the future. We'll have to wait and see.

lol, too funny.
Anyways, thanks for everyone's input.
I guess I'll just relax until I start having problems and get an update from Cyclowiz when released.
Davym, the D2B is not yet upgradable. I tried, got a fatal error, then read the website whereas it notes that D2B is not yet supported in this upgrade.

I have a d2b chipset and a cyclowiz v2. The only game I've run into any sort of problem with is Warioware. Rayman raving rabbids runs fine. I dont have a list with me, but so far about 12 wii games I've backed up run fine. Warioware just has random DRE's during storyline video playback, and rarely during gameplay, but it is playable. I've unlocked everything up to sudden death mode.
I contacted team cyclops, they said the d2b update for the chip should be out by the end of this week. So I've decided I'm not going to check back until April. Just a preference, nothing personal. I've got plenty of games that work fine until then. Zelda will keep me busy.
I burned all backups using Memorex DVD-R 16x at 2x.

They actually told you 'by the end of this week'? Damn, they should trademark that.

This is from the email:
Dear Customer,
An upgrade for D2B should be ready by the end of the week.
The website will be updated with information regarding the upgrade. We hope this answers your question!
