it's being worked on, and will be released on the qoob page most likely.

I'm guessing that Cobra will release a bios with it implemented(Cobra 1.1 can already play the music from the games), before Qoob releases their mp3 player, I could be wrong though.

Yes you are wrong ;) the advertised onboard mp3 player is really onboard it's just not much of a player I think.

Try burning a dvd with mp3files on it. It'll show you a menu with your mp3's in the folders you've put them in. You can browse through it with the 4point button (left below on your controller). I haven't yet played a song, the songs were in grey as if they were unselectable or something.

I already tried doing that but all I got was invalid disk error. =/

As they are all grey'd out, that leads me to believe that they have not fully implemented mp3 support. You can browse them, but not play them(wait, are you talking about the dvd explorer?). Isn't the MP3 player going to be a seperate app that is going to be released, and flashed to one of the extra banks on the chip? According to the website, the mp3/media player has not been released.

I think something for mp3's is built in, but the only thing missing is a player. It doesn't say built in mp3 support for nothing.

So I think there is mp3 support, but nothing to play it with yet.
