Hi everyone. I read in the forum that for 2 disk games that don't ask for you to save at the end of the first disk you cannot play. So I guess RE4 you can but say RE you cannot. But I wasn't too certain if it meant you cannot play backups of 2 disk games only? It doesn't imply that after you install the qoob you can't play even authentic copies of 2 disk games right? Just want to be sure before I buy a qoob. Thanks.

I assume you should be able to. But I'm still new to this whole GCN scene. Not unless GCN games can detect modchips...... would you need to disable the modchips?

Just out of curiousity? Is there a possibility of a new Bios upgrade to allow multidisk playability? ie. ones that couldn't work before? Just wondering and hoping. Also any possibility of multidisk games like the Viper? I'm just curious b/c I'm considering the Qoob chip. Just waiting for the new GCN cases by Team Xecuter... and perhaps some BIOS upgrades. Sorry for the thread jack, didn't mean for it to happen. ;)

Currently no method of playing DVD backups allows for playing those multi disc games that don't have a save between discs. The current solution is if you have a broadband adapter you can try streaming the game with GCSim. Metal Gear Solid is fully playable this way.

Yeah actually i was wondering about the real 2 disk games that I own. I just wanna make sure after I get a qoob chip it won't disable the ability to play my original 2 disk games. I'm pretty sure it won't cause that would be pretty dumb. But Just want to make sure. Thanks.

Well now that qoob 1.1 came out it supports 2 disk games so you don't have anything to worry about. QOOB ROCKS!
