Hi,

After trying soldering my Cyclowiiz on my wii, something burned and the Led on the chip didn't turned on. The burned component probably come from my cyclo, because you can see a little darker area.

Here's a pic : http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/7734/p1050788vj1.th.jpg (http://img444.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p1050788vj1.jpg)

But after un-solding my chip, my drive was dead. It couldn't insert or eject disc anymore. But the solution in the sticky thread doesn't help me because my fuse isn't dead... I've used my multimeter to calculate the resistance, but it's has exactly 0.1 ohm, so bridging it won't help.

I would like to know if there is annother way to fix that problem?

Thanks a lot, and I beg you'r perdon for my bad english... this is not my first language ;)

No offence but that's a very bad soldering.

PCB near the red wire seems busted... and your Cyclowiz look like it is in pretty bad shape.

You should find a professionnal modder to look at this mess. Or maybe you can find a new drive... but that's pretty much impossible for now.

I didn't think my soldering was that bad...

I would like to find a professional modder... but I really don't know where to search... I am living in the province of quebec (Canada) and I am going to both, english and french modding forum, but I've never found someone near my city...

Is there online tutorial or something about soldering? What's bad in my soldering? What should it look like?

thanks again :/
