Cyclowiz firmware upgrade question

Hello, I was wondering about the Cyclowiz upgrade DVD. Do you have to drill a hole through the Wii for the switch to upgrade the modchip or do you just put the DVD in the drive and it just updates? How does the wiiKey update with the DVD? I am a noob and was just wondering.

you do need a switch for the cyclowiz update yes but you don't have to drill a hole. There was a tutorial just posted that shows how to install a switch without damaging your wii's case

You need a switch for the cyclowiz update. Whether you drill a hole is up to you, search for the numerous threads of switch placement.

The wiikey does indeed update by dvd.

There are absolutely tons of threads on these things so it might be best next time to do a search first.
