Gamecube backups and Action Replay cheats on Wii

Anyone with a Wiikey get their Game cube backups to work with Action Replay
cheats? If so what version of Action Replay is needed?:confused:

Anyone know how to use AR cheats on *GC backups* with Wiikey installed.
Anyone?? Does it take GCOS? I cant get past this one level in Ikaruga.

You actually got Ikaruga to work on your Wii?

It DREs about halfway through the first level for me.

if your using wiikey, its set at 6x and can cause dre's. a simple fix is to lower the speed to 3x. i have mine set at 3x and have no problems so far :)

Just tried that, no luck, DRE even faster in fact.

If you ask, if you are able to play an Action Replay backup through wiikey, yes, you can. And you can play homebrew stuff as emulators through SD Gecko in that way (without the need to buy an original AR)

If you ask, if you are able to run AR cheats in GC backups, yes, there is a GCOS version for that.

What media are you using/burning at?
Which kind of Wii do you have? (PAL/NTSC)
Which format of Ikaruga disc?
How long/far have you played Ikaruga?

I have now tried PAL and NTSC Starcube releases on my NTSC-U Wii w/ Wiikey. Done this on different media types, at different speeds. I have tried the 3x and 6x speeds. Still no luck.
